Thank you for purchasing my photo book "Wintertale" at Paris Photo 08. The front cover is on the photo side. Please flip the flyleaf next to the cover. You can see the first shot of the stuffed deer. That is, my book style is opposite to those in English.

This is designed on the basis of many photos with skaters moving from the right to the left, the time and season transition from the right to the left on the pages, and the text in Japanese in the vertical direction.

The last photo reflects the graduation. Almost school graduations in Japan are held in March. The title of the book is "Wintertale" in English but "Nigatsu" in Japanese, i.e., February. Accordingly, the images start in autumn and end on March when spring comes.
